Hey Tash (fellow brit)
I'm so sorry to learn of your family member that passed away. Thats so sad. Its nice to speak to a fellow Brit on here! I am from Hertfordshire, where are you from?

River was a fabulous actor and Stand By Me is definatley my fave movie! Especially the scene with the milk money! I watched the documentary about it the other day and didnt realise he was crying properly when he filmed that!

Can you believe all the stuff in London over the last few days! makes you realise how lucky you are doesnt it! My friend at work was on the tube carriage behind the one that blew up! . She was saying today that she nearly got on the one in front but it looked to busy so she got on the one behind!!! What a lucky girl she is!

Jess XX:)

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in posting but as you can imagine, the last couple of days have been hectic, well I am not only in London but really close by to Aldgate station so when I found out I was panicked as my daughter goes to school close to the station, luckily everyone was fine at the school.
A friend of mine was on her way to KX also on the Picc line, she was 15 minutes late that morning, she was stuck on the tube for a while and then they were all evacuated, I talked to her last night and she still sounded terribly shaken.
London is a strong city, we will get through it!!!

Thanks for all your well-wishes, I hope all your London based friends and family are all ok, I woke up to the stories of the lost this morning and apparently, their are very few injured John and Jane Doe's so their loved ones could be left behind on the tracks, which really makes you heart break for those people searching.

Hey Tash and other fellow Brits!
I am so glad that your daughter and friend were ok. I have been watching the news as well this morning and its so sad all the people that are still missing and possibly on that train in the tunnel. Apparently the tunnel could collapse at anytime, which is why the search is taking so long! I wonder how they are going to get down there to it? Must be dreadful.

Its so shocking. You never think it will happen so close to home do you....

I just hope there are no more, they keep saying on the news today that we could expect more to come.

We will not be defeated though, i am very proud of all the people in London, they are so brave, and trying to carry on as normal must be so hard! Its at a time like this that you realise how short life is and all the silly arguments you have with people just arent worth it are they!

Glad you are ok,

Speak soon Jess xxxx
