Jiggy Jam (Login JiggyJam) Morbidly Boards Moderator
I want to get an idea about how you regulars would feel about requiring login to post at this forum. Following are some of the negatives and positives. Please post your feedback. If the majority agrees to make registration mandatory I can have Frank set it up as I don't have auth for that.
Positives:
• Would eliminate the malicious/confusing posters, posers and trolls
• Postings tend to be more "topic appropriate"
Negatives
•Tends to decrease the variety of posters as people are often unwilling to take the time to register
•Postings will have less variety and flair as most drive-by posters will no longer take the time (although drive-bys usually are negative, the occassional drive-by has something good to offer.

I suppose its friendlier and safer, and it stops posers from writing nasty stuff, but its thier opinion, and thats what they want to write, so I personally would approve of this, so we can keep track of who is writing on here, and it stop random people from stopping by and writing complete garbage and useless opinions! I am OK with it, and I noticed ICU got a bit annoyed with it, so i give it the big 'Yup...OK'! How are you Jiggy?

POSERS. That's the word I was looking for! Thanky!
All I can say as far as the input, is that I DO like the ability to post my username, as it's always been the same, and I NEVER POSE as someone else. Whether by a user name or claiming to be someone or something I am not.
After looking at the pros and cons Jiggy - it does appear that a "no required login" is best for most here. But I think it is extremely important for everyone to be aware that we currently have at least one POSER on board. This poser has no problem signing in under different names and chats just to be, I dunno, creepy ???
Guys, just please be careful when people come in to chat. Sometimes the same "freak" giving you a hard time on the boards and chat is the same one who acts like a friend under a different user name. Yes - Ally. I was VERY annoyed, as this person has complained before about other users being "posers" as well. But the fault of that comes from the posing user - and not the Morbidly Hollywood boards or chats.
Thanks for asking Jiggy .

Uhuh. Well said! I agree. Some people arent going to be that happy with it, but mainly becuse the people who are going to have a problem with it, are most likely to be the posers! But it is a good idea, it will ensure safty, so this sight can be a bit more safe!
Have you spoken to RP lately? How is she doing if you have?

Hmmmmm, let me think about that for a moment. I think I spoke with RP, but I'm not exactly sure since she's been signing in under different user names to write. Your guess is as good as mine.

hey guys, how've you been? what did i miss? i personally think it's a pretty good idea to login, it doesn't require an email so it's not really that intrusive (i personally HATE giving out my email). we do get some immature prats on here who are just here to cause trouble, so it would make it alot easier for the lovely jiggy jam to monitor them and if need be dole out a technological bitchslap.
