i wanted to no if any of you new if corey feldman, wil wheaton, and jerry oconnel attened the funeral.I mean they have known river since they were kids and i no if i were them i deffintly would have gone but i havent seen in any of the articles bout his death that they were there.if they werent i think that would be so rude and disrespectful.I mean i no they prob didnt stay in contack but i am just really dieing to no if any of them attened.i not rob rainer did.DOES ANYBODY NO!?!?!?!?!

that is a very good question but you know not all acors are friends and stay buddies, who knows after they made the movie they probably never spoke a word to eachother again!!!

You know, I've thought about this same question from time to time. Corey Feldman has come out in the open many times (maybe TOO much) about his drug use - and in interviews talked of his drug induced experiences with fellow actor Corey Haim. But come to think of it, I don't recall Feldman speaking much on Rivers O.D., at all. Perhaps they weren't as close as the movie SBM made them out to be? I honestly have no clue.

...i'm not sure if corey and river were as pally as people make out they were in stand by me. in the "walking the tracks" featurette on the dvd,he says "i was this close to being able to hlep him" so from this i drew to the conclusion that maybe they weren't best of friends on that film set but when corey realised that river was in deep water so to speak,that he wanted to help his old co-star but was,in the end,too late

amazeing star, he was the tops of the 4, before his untimely death, he was to be the next greatest star and he messed things up by hanging with the wrong people ! im guessing this ! river was and is still thought of as an icon with his beauty and screen apperence,also his abilty to act. he did everything 4 his family, or should i say his parents. poor river had a spirit bigger then the earth could hold !river lived as long as god needed him and now jaquin took his place,and is just as great !

Thats true Holiday. The otehr actotrs themselves have said that they were never in touch again. River was special, torubled, and also human. The other actors just went in other directions.

I know for sure that Rob Reiner attended the funeral...but no they didnt show up...dont worry about it being disrespectful...I went to his funeral..they sent letters to the family saying how sorry they were. They were really jerked up about his death. I was a good friend of River's. I dont think that river would have wanted them to see him that way neways!

It has been reported that none of them atteneded any funeral services or memorials. They said it themselves, and even most of them said that they never saw each other again after Stand By Me.
