Foul Play Expected...

I personally believe the foul play was involved in the untimely death of River Phoenix. Not because River was some sort of "angel" that never took drugs, but because of spiritual wickedness in high and low places.

"Sheriff Brown always hated me, for what I don't know. Everytime I plant a seed he say 'kill them before they grow'" Bob Marley, "I shot the Sheriff"

Many are not aware that Bob Marley had a profound influence on River Phoenix. River knew most of Bob Marleys songs by heart.

"The greatest threat to national security is an influential person who can mobilize the youth" J. Edgar Hoover, Director of FBI and mastermind of COINTELPRO

There are many forces that would prefer River dead not the least because of his political and environmental activism.

Advanced assassinations are made to appear to be death by "natural causes" (ie: heart attack, aids/cancer, etc.) or they are made to apprear to be an "accidental death" (ie: car accident, drug overdose, etc.)

Also, it is important to note that the most advanced assassinations are done indirectly by "fueling the fire" between seperate groups and then encouraging and/or enabling the murderous act.

These are my opinions. I have felt that there was foul play since the very moment that I knew he died. I would like for others to let me know what you think. Please post your thoughts in the forum entitled "Foul Play Expected..."

Sincerely,

Hasid RA

i disagree - family and friends said that he had been taking drugs on and off for a few years. I'm not sure of the percentage but some are accidental and i think that is what it was. He bit off my than he could chew.

I know it's kind of an "off the wall" thing to think about, but I was a close personal friend and working with him very closely for the last couple of years of his life here on planet earth and I would just like people to consider the possibility of foul play.

I am not suggesting that I know exactly what happened, but I would like to find out more.

what difference is it going to make? He's still dead , and why would someone do this? Don't get me wrong he was a talanted acotor and did a lot for good causes , but a threat? to who? what makes you think that?

There have been people on here before claiming to be family or friends of River - so i doubt people will believe you are one of them . Adding a few links to 'your' websites doesn't prove anything.

First of all, all my respect and appreciation for you great Music!

It's an honour to have you on this board, as a close friend of River and to acknowledge that you’ve never stopped questioning and seeking the truth about what happened to him, on that night.

As for your theory: I've often wonder about Frusciante's responsability in giving Rio the sh#t that caused his death! I mean, do you think he could have wanted him dead for some reason?

Thank you for your kind comments. Did you listen to the music on myspace?

I was real discouraged when I read the previous post about people pretending. It is unfortunate that so many do. To me sincerity and truth are the most important things. It is a bit painful when you open up about something that is emotional and people imply that you are a liar... especially when you are telling the truth.

River and I were very close and for the last year of his life we spent most of the time (about 16 hours a day) in the studio together recording some great music.

I have many reasons to believe what I believe and for a moment I thought that maybe this is not the place to share them.

About Frusciante, I would not be quick to assume. I have met John personally and he appeared to be a very kind, intelligent and talented man. Exactly what happened, who knows but I would like for more to consider the possibility.

Please do not hesitate to contact me. The best way is via myspace.

Thanks again,

"Thank you for your kind comments. Did you listen to the music on myspace?"

Yeah man! Thanxs to YOU, for adding the links of your websites!
I think you’re very talented and gifted indeed!

I’m sorry for some people treating you apparently a bit tactless and without much consideration! But I also guess it’s a little ‘in the spirit’ of this site, to get easily teased in the beginnin, or even blamed sometimes, unless the ones you’re talking to, aren’t properly... good old time friends of yours! Besides please consider that, as far as I know, in the past there has really been someone trying to make believe that she/he was a Phoenix’s relative. So I think it’s just normal for some of the guys in here to feel ‘biased’ and be more watchful, before trusting anyone declaring any kind of relation.

As for me, don’t you worry: I did believe you since the first time I read your post, and got to say I’m feeling pretty moved by now, thinking that you spent all that time with Rio, doing what he probably loved the most!
How blessed you’ve been!!! How many wonderful memories I imagine you may hold!

I’m also glad to know he knew almost all of Marley’s songs by heart! Did he have a favourite one? Do you know?

Last but not least, I’m really curious about the musical projects you were working over, together! Actually ‘don’t know much about‘em ,‘sorry for that.
But I guess you were both putting all you heart and souls to make your music available for 'streaming' right into and flowing along with the Loving River of Life!

Luv and Peace

Well, what makes this persons claim (no offense) different than anyone elses on here saying they knew River? Hummm...food for thought, huh?

Everyone is on the net, and relatives/friends of famous people can and do visit web pages for their friend/relative if they are famous. We need not judge either way unless we know the person for sure, and just take it all with a grian of salt.

Hi There

Nice to meet you, would you mind clarifying a few things,

so you were 16/17 when he died (according to your website)you must be a very gifted musician - your music is good. You say that you guys wrote songs together - then surely you should have ownership of these? but I did hear that Michael Stipe has now got all the rights to these? If i had co written songs with River i would want the rights back! surely after 12 years this has all been resolved. Tell us about your memories of River, do you have any photo's you would like to share?

On the original issue - thats a hard one isn't it, because maybe he did not realise how strong the drugs were that he took . No one pinned him down and made him take it.

Music & Love

Thanks to all. I certainly understand how it is difficult to believe people on the net. Even in real life you never really know who's who. I just do my best to see with my heart.

I thank you Tory for the kind compliments on the music.

The times I spent recording with River were certainly some of the most awesome times. He was a great musician (played guitar like Jimmy Hendrix), a great songwriter and a kind person. I also did a lot of music with Joaquin at this time. Most don't know it, but Joaquin is also a very talented musician and he and I had a rap group together and a punk rock group.

I have so much beautiful music that I would love to share. At one time I made it available for free download on my site and I quickly had a letter from a lawyer representing the family threatening to sue me. Oh well....

After River left the planet his sister Rain took possession of the master tapes and has yet to do anything with them. Perhaps it is too hard emotionally. I respect that so I havn't really pushed them. I would love to see the music because it was River's dream and because it's really great music! We'll see.

The music that Michael Stipe owns is music that was made by Aleka's Attic. When I joined with River Aleka's Attic had already disbanded and the group we formed together was called BlackSmith Configuration. Much of the music that I co-wrote with River was taken by the family and I have no access to it. That really sucks and is a painful for me but because of my respect for River I have not argued about it. I don't like fight or argue. I just hope that someday everyone gets to hear it.

Lots of Love to all,

Hasid RA

ps: I'm don't think that Riv had any particular favorite Marley song... they are all just sooo gooood!

Hi Hasid RA,

I do believe you, and I thank you for your time coming here to discuss this with River's fans. I wasn't able to check out your music because my computer is on a dial-up and its very slow. Some other time, I promise. I'm interested to hear you!

I'm glad you have the wonderful times always in your memory of River. And I'm glad you were able to share the gift of music together...something you both love!!

Please answer this question if you can: Why are you suspicious of his death? What signs did you see that made you think it was more than what it seemed?

I am very curious to know how u feel on this. If you are very concerned, perhaps you should tell his family or the police...Does anyone feel this way with you, Joaquin or Rain?

God bless you always, Kate R.

RJP RIP T-shirts

Hi Ana,

I am sorry I haven't been able to check the board for a while now.

The RJP RIP T was a project that I started to remember Riv and all of the profit was donated.

There was an issue where our entire supply of T's got ripped off when our studio facility was robbed in Miami. I hired a person and payed them to finish the project and fill all of the outstanding orders and that was a long time ago.

I was under the impression that everyone had recieved their order. If you know of anyone who has not, please have them email me at rjprip@hasidra.com and I will personally make sure that they recieve their t-shirt or a refund.

I apologise about any disrespect or inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Hasid RA

sweetie, i am not some silly little 14 year old school kid who is going to fall for the words of what i perceive to be a two bit con artist. you may have played with river at the clinton rally but it doesn't make you a friend by any standard. you claim to have produced these tees to honor river's memory, so i ask you this, how the hell is a tee shirt meaningful?

as for your reasons for not supplying the tees when they were ordered, do you honestly expect me and anyone on here with at least half a brain cell to believe that they were all stolen? why were boxes and boxes of tees being kept in a studio? if this was on the level then why did you not hire a more suitable storage facility?

you were well aware that the order was not filled at the time as you were making you excuses to those on the atw website (mostly blaming river's family). and personally if i was waiting for a tee for months on end i would have been screaming for a refund.

i will not be contacting you via email, and i will certainly not be calling your $2.99 per min hotline.

if you are meant to be the year's most controversial artist then how come none of us have heard from you? aside from the fact your music is insanely bad of course.

friends don't use friend's deaths for financial gain. you want to donate money to an organization dedicated to river then by all means do so. river's assets belong to his family (image included), they are not yours to sell

"I just do my best to see with my heart.
I thank you Tory for the kind compliments on the music."

My pleasure, once again!
Got to tell you, I basically live for Music so, I feel I’m just paying my dues recognizing you for being able to make a so spontanous, electrifying, haert-to heart connection among our souls, through your own!

"The times I spent recording with River were certainly some of the most awesome times.
He was a great musician (played guitar like Jimmy Hendrix), a great songwriter and a kind person"

... (you got me speechless!)

"I have so much beautiful music that I would love to share At one time I made it available for free download on my site and...";
"Much of the music that I co-wrote with River was taken by the family and I have no access to it. That really sucks and is a painful for me but because of my respect for River I have not argued about it. I don't like fight or argue.";
"I just hope that someday everyone gets to hear it."
"I would love to see the music because it was River's dream and because it's really great music! We'll see."

Oh, I’m sorry for that, it’s really a shame indeed! I mean, I would have loved to listen to it!
And may God hear your wishes, Hasid!
But also think it’s appreciable, very ‘peaceful’ of you, that you wouldn’t complain or argue with his family! Remainds me a lot of River and of his vocation to peace-making, you know!
About sharing: it’s so important to me! It’s great to see for you it’s just the same!
How did He say? "Give and you’ll get in return!"
Well, Hope life’ll pay you back good enough for what you’re doing right now and I bet that Rio is smiling down upon you in this very moment! Friends will always be friends, right till the end; friendship never dies...

"ps: I'm don't think that Riv had any particular favorite Marley song... they are all just sooo gooood!"

Yeah, you're terribly right! How could he just pick up one?!
Lately I’ve being listening to some Marley's covers, sung by Lauryn and Ziggy. I Guess you might have already heard them too. But if you didn’t, ‘think y’ should just check ‘em out!

"Lots of Love to all"

Love is need we All!

the t-shirts? cheap ones at best i'd imagine alexia. you can usually get an iron on transfer type one from a random souvenir shop, probably not worth the $38 dollars. plus, seeing as this guy has no actual rights to the music he wouldn't have been able to legally sell the cd. i checked the link on one of the atw posts and it still states there is a "special" surprise if you order NOW!

i wonder what was meant by asking musicians not to send him anymore music. could he have been plagiarizing?

I simply trust him. And it doesn’t cost me a thing, actually!

To me, Hasid is a beautiful soul! I just can’t seriously believe he ever meant to harm anybody in the past, neither that he’ll let us down, right now.

I invite you personally to go visit his sites by yourself and try to read some of his writings, or just listen carefully to the lyrics of his songs, before you start making up a 'false' distorted image of him and rely on it so easily!

At heart, "The truth is a lie to what is truer"...

The only thing that matters to me- about all the ‘wicked’ story here mentioned- is that RA is definitely someone whom Rio has loved- for real- in his life!
So, I think we should respect and appreciate that.
He’s ‘untouchable’ for that!

‘Guess, this is another easy explanation why I wouldn’t stay silent and let anybody mistreat him, pal.

Love and much Peace para todos on planet earth!

I am not here to tell anyone who, or what to believe, but the facts are stated. This person took money and never delivered the items. I was one of them. As far as anything else goes, I would certainly say to do what your heart says, and not to believe people that come on boards and spread info about others, but this is different. There have been incidents where Annon people have posted info and claim that it belongs to someone else, people on thiis board with supposed connections to River, but Hasid has said he was that person who posted on ATW. Very different situation indeed. Just be careful.

tory, i have no intention of bowing down to a crook just for the sake of politeness. when i am right i fight my corner, so get used to it. i am not going to keep my mouth shut on this so he can weasel his way in and start convincing young impressionable people into giving him money. oh and as for little dig at my mental capacity, i am a university graduate. i have dealt with my share of liars and creeps and hasid ra falls very much into that category.

"i invite you personally to go visit his sites by yourself and try to read some of his writings, or just listen carefully to the lyrics of his songs, before you start making up a 'false' distorted image of him and rely on it so easily!"

I read something he wrote on one of his ATW posts that really upset me. He stated that Rain had the material and she had no rights to it, and she was not a " member," etc. Man, that made me so mad. She jas every right, she was a member, and her name was on the copyrights. I have seen those papers online in the past. Her main rght, however, is that she is his Sister, and her having the material is best.

"do you honestly expect me and anyone on here with at least half a brain cell" ...

I was just quoting your own words, Ana. Had no intention at all to question your mental ability as you thought I would, in NO WAY.'Sorry for letting this misunderstanding happen anyway!
In fact I was referring to your strictly logical style of reasoning which apparently makes you see only the blue of heaven or the red of hell, while you may be missing all the full color scale right in between, you know what I mean ?!

"i don't deny that he may have worked with river, or that river may have shaken hands with him once or twice. i work with people too, i like them, but at the end of the day it's WORK!"

That’s the point! I’m wondering ‘bout what music really means to you since, as for me, it’s just... hundreds, thousands miles far away from being only a matter of "WORK"! You put your own soul in it, at least!
And it’s authentically a soul gathering...

"how the hell can the lyrics of "chupa chupa" be meaningful? so many layers of crap there that i can't help but laugh".

In Hasid’s words (taken from his blog space): “For instance, I composed a song called “Chupa Chupa” (which is Spanish for “Suck it, Suck it”). The poem is composed in such a way as to lead the listener to think that it is a song about sex, bacchanal and debauchery, and indeed it is. But not in the way expressed explicitly. Practically the entire song is written in metaphorical terms [...]
Throughout the song I intersperse allusions to the real meaning thru the use of political/social commentary, and in the final verse the real meaning is quite explicit.
Still, so many even hearing the entire song, just don't get it…”

"i was referring to your strictly logical style of reasoning which apparently makes you see only the blue of heaven or the red of hell, while you may be missing all the full color scale right in between, you know what i mean ?!"

if it's a choice between following logic and the ramblings of a guy who claims celebrity, then logic wins every time. if a stranger offered you candy in the park would you follow him? i would certainly hope not. yet you are willing to follow someone that you "met" on the internet blindly. perhaps you should read "the pied piper of hamlin" again.

you invite me "personally" to view his websites, so i invite you "personally" to check the atw forum links. i notice you didn't answer my question, so i'll ask again. if this was all a big misunderstanding then why would he no longer be welcome on the atw forum?

Apparently, the incident which took place a few years back has been settled. As for trying to sell this merchandise and to make some of the music available, I'm not going to hold it against him..he was a part of the band and I'm sorry but based on what I saw on the A&E BIO Rain had little involvement in the band..jumping around on stage like a fool and screeching into a michrophone..the only reason why she was in the band was because she was River's sister and thats the only reason why she owns the rights to the music. Maybe she had more involvement than I think she did but I think it's very selfish of her to not share these tapes because River would have wanted his fans to hear his music...
Hasid RA if u have anything to tell us about River plz don't let the negative comments on the board deter u from doing so.

Hey Ana, you never give a person a chance to change, and forgive them and forget it?
Do you?

Besides, I think that denigrating, stigmatizing, and ostracizing people is indeed a very constraining and sad thing to do.

I thought we were supposed to expand our minds, in exploring reality and communicating with each other, not to narrow them to any singular limitated point of view (whether be mine, whether be yours, or the peculiar one which took the form of a all-against-one position on the ATW- I’m not questioning its rightness though, just trying to describe the situation as I’ve perceived it!).

One last point: please, let’s stop argueing!!!: it’s making me feel disrespectful towards River’s memory actually. So friendly, if you need many more excuses and apologies from Hasid..., just try to ask him directly!

Take care yourself!

"Hasid RA if u have anything to tell us about River plz don't let the negative comments on the board deter u from doing so. "

With you on this remark and request Anonymous!
For example, I'd truly love to know a little more about Rio's vision and feelings upon music...

Hope to hear soon from you RA!
You’re still very welcome here- from a few persistent ones among us, at least!

PEACE TO EVERYBODY!

"Hey Ana, you never give a person a chance to change, and forgive them and forget it? Do you?"

Why should she or anyone this guy stole money from (and that is indeed what he did by offering merchandise that people paid for years ago and NEVER received!) forgive him for his theft? He's had years to "change" and give these people their money back or else finally deliver their merchandise, and he hasn't done it! How many more years do you think he deserves for the people he ripped off to wait patiently for him to CHANGE?? He's a con artist, plain and simple. He knows full well that lots of people are still out there waiting for him to either deliver their goods or refund their money, and yet he ignores the topic and hasn't offered to rectify the situation in any manner. That's a thief!

"Besides, I think that denigrating, stigmatizing, and ostracizing people is indeed a very constraining and sad thing to do."

Wow, looks like someone must have a shiny new thesaurus! Look, he conned people out of their money, plain and simple. It's not like Ana made that up -- after all, she gave links to document what he did. You can kiss his feet blindly if you choose, but please allow those with open eyes to talk about what they see with them, all right?? The fact that you called him "untouchable" in an earlier post for the one and only reason that he says he briefly knew River is just insane. You must worship at the Church of River to think such a ridiculous, baseless thing -- and I can't even begin to tell you how many ways it's wrong to find someone above reproach (apparently not just for theft but ANYTHING according to your post) just because they kinda knew a now-dead celebrity you obviously idolize (HEY JIGGY! It's that awful "i" word again, lol.) Hey, Judas knew Jesus didn't he? Guess that makes Judas "untouchable" too!! Do you see how silly that line of reasoning is?? PLEASE open your eyes! You sound like the easiest victim in the world, and I'd honestly hate to see someone take advantage of your blind trust -- but you're going to fall prey to someone if you can't start to reason clearly soon.

"I thought we were supposed to expand our minds, in exploring reality and communicating with each other, not to narrow them to any singular limitated point of view"

The only "limitated" point of view I'm seeing here is, again, your blind trust for someone who's only been posting here a very short time (after getting kicked off ATW for his con artistry) -- a blind trust formed only because the dude claims to be someone who briefly knew River and who gushes about music like there's no tomorrow. Ana has done nothing but warn people of what he did on other boards: STEAL MONEY FROM RIVER'S FANS!! Now THAT is QUITE a betrayal not only to River's fans but to River's memory! Why can't you see that?? Everyone here should be grateful to Ana for that warning because I have a feeling Hasid would have been up to his old tricks again soon by offering some sort of alleged "River stuff" here and bilking people (like you) once again. He almost seems to have some sort of hypnotic, mind-control effect on certain people -- developing a strange cult-like following by a handful of "the faithful" like you. Do you realize he's "limitated" you to talking about HIM constantly now instead of talking about River?? He's got this whole thread going where people were (and would still be) doing nothing but kissing his feet for his alleged connection to River if not for Ana's warning. And how do you even know the person posting here is the same guy who made music with River anyway?? Ever heard of impostors?? Does "RP" ring a freakin' bell -- lying and conning people into believing she was River's cousin?? Newsflash: people on the internet are really ALL anonymous. Anyone can claim to be anyone in the world, and no one has any way of knowing the truth -- unless the impostors eventually unravel like a roll of toilet paper the way RP did when she was exposed, lol! To summarize, a lot of people in the world lie. Most of those liars come on the internet. That makes the rest of us vulnerable. Keep that in mind, ok?? Now let's quit hurling insults and move on to another topic -- perhaps one about River himself!! What a novel idea!

(I really mean no harm. In fact, I'm trying to open your eyes -- and many others -- to the dangers of falling for people over the internet so you don't get conned or hurt. Really! I'm gone for now. Peace to everyone -- except the con artists, lol.)

"I personally believe the foul play was involved in the untimely death of River Phoenix. Not because River was some sort of "angel" that never took drugs, but because of spiritual wickedness in high and low places."
....
"There are many forces that would prefer River dead not the least because of his political and environmental activism."
....
"Advanced assassinations are made to appear to be death by "natural causes" (ie: heart attack, aids/cancer, etc.) or they are made to apprear to be an "accidental death" (ie: car accident, drug overdose, etc.)"

Dear lord...after reading the post below about how this guy seems to be trying to get some kind of "cult following" or something, I went back and read this first post of his again and have to say he does sound like some kind of wacko! River assassinated? Because of "spiritual wickedness" no less? Oh please! So somebody killed River because they didn't like the fact that he was on the side of trees and puppies? LOL! Absurd! And he seems to be forgetting the fact that River died of drugs he ingested by SNORTING, not from shooting up or eating or drinking the drugs. So no one jammed a needle into his body and no one poisoned him! Do you really think someone held him down and forced him to snort the drugs? How f---ing laughable that notion is! Unfortunately, River is dead because he made some very bad choices over quite a long time and became a drug addict, willingly snorting a fatal speedball that night. Sad but true.

I didn't really want to get involved in all this, but rotflol!! This struck me really funny for some reason - maybe because I haven't slept in a day and a half. ::yawn::

"Absurd!"

Agreed. Samuel Beckett would be proud, lol.

"became a drug addict, willingly snorting a fatal speedball that night. Sad but true."

"My best friend is a junkie, sad but true. My best friend is a junkie - what does your best friend do?" ::sigh:: I wish ICU was here - she'd know where that came from. (Now I'll probably have that song stuck in my head all day. )

why are u ppl so quick to label him a "scam artist" don't u think a rational mind would also not be so quick to believe the negative comments of random ppl on a message board? I'm not taking sides when it comes to this..both sides have yet to supply me with enough information to make a judgement. Show me facts..prove it to me. I've been to the atw site and NOWHERE did it state that he was a con artist from what I saw..give me a direct link to a section that proves that he is infact a conartist. The only thread I found related to Hasid Ra stated that he was giving refunds for the shirts ppl ordered that were never delievered to them...That does not automatically mean that he intended on "scamming" them...Get off your high-horse "Miss. Rational"

have you actually read the links on my thread? if hasid ra was so innocent then why on earth would they members of the forum take the trouble to contact the mayor of gainsville to ask for his assistance? and why would they seek to compile a list of all those he took money from?

here's another link set well over a year after the mayor of gainsville was contacted with reference to the hasid ra situation.

http://www.river-phoenix.org/atw/?c=m&i=37983&a=37983#37983

let me paraphrase: "what hasid ra
said...that we needed to order quickly before the phoenixes found out
what he was doing and stopped him...made lots of us wonder if he was
offering bootleg cds of the AA album, so we removed his solicitation
letters from the ATW messages; we were not going to let
him "advertise" under such questionable circumstances.
as it happened though, some people had already ordered, but
hasid ra never honored those orders from riverfriends.
they got no t-shirts, they got no "special surprise" and they've
never gotten their money back, either, so we don't know for sure that
the "special surprise" might have been the unreleased AA music.
hasid also just ignored everyone here who was trying to find out
what happened."

do you really need it spelling out?

lawsuits weren't mentioned. like brad says he kept them hanging on until it was way too late to report the theft.

it really is a shitty thing to do to people, and this brad guy really got a lot of stick for it. i felt very sorry for the guy when i read this:

http://www.river-phoenix.org/atw/?c=m&i=19020&a=19020#19020

plus the fact he was advertising on the board could have gotten the forum into serious trouble. ra did not give a crap whose feelings he hurt when he was stealing from them.

i hope he is being haunted as well, not only does he rip off fans he is very nasty in his comments about rain. if anyone spoke about one of my siblings that way i would destroy them in the most painful and humiliating way possible because there are lines you DO NOT cross!

well, something has to seriously be done about this...
Lawsuits were mentioned about copyright infringements regarding the music (not on the links u listed)...I think Rain threatened him with a lawsuit at one point from what I can remember reading (I'll try to find where exactly I read this).
Anyway....the guy is clearly a disturbed individual.
Sorry for not noticing the links u posted sooner..its just that ppl wrote so much on this thread, and for good reason. RIVER HAUNT HIM....

seriously! how many times has this been posted?!?!!?

"hasid ra if u have anything to tell us about river plz don't let the negative comments on the board deter u from doing so"

tory is either:
a)insane
b)stupid
c)insane and stupid

or perhaps secret option d) hasid ra attempting to weasle his way back onto the board via a proxy.

"anyway....the guy is clearly a disturbed individual." you are not wrong there! hasid ra is a nasty piece of work who lies and decieves. he flatters fans until they trust him, he verbally bashes the family of his supposed friend, in all honesty is THIS the type of person who can be trusted. i may not support river's choices in life, but his family have been through enough. they do not deserve to be bitched about by this shitbag. he is clearly bitter that his "meal ticket" died before he could hit the big time.

there is more to this than negative comments, there is the evidence on the atw forum. hasid ra trades on his friend's name to dupe people to his own means. either look at his handy work and see the truth or support the lie and go elsewhere.
