So, has anyone seen 'American Fame Pt. 1: Drowning River Phoenix'? I just saw it a few days ago on TV, and was pretty much blown away. Blown away in that... different kind of way, like, it was short and it didn't really show much of River (just actors portraying him), but it was powerful and sad and... very good. The only thing that really freaked me out, and I couldn't tell if it was real or fabricated for the film, but it was this recording of River, I suppose. It said it was recorded in 1975 and it was really rough; this high-pitched voice saying something along the lines of: "I'm River Phoenix. When I grow up I'm going to be a big star and be all over the TVs and in the magazines and I'm going to die at the wrong age". Any idea in the validity of this? It was creepy, I have to say.

Anyway, I'd really suggest trying to hunt this down and watch it. It was only 11 minutes long, but it sent a shiver down my spine in a weird way. If I knew how to get it onto my computer, I'd upload it for people to download... but alas.

Jeez that is spooky. I've heard a few times that River predicted his death. Strange hey?

That is really something.. i have goose bumps! he said he was gonna die.. yeah his mom said he knew he was only gonna be here for a short time. River was too good for this hellish world! where can i find this??
