that is so weird that you put that song there, I agree that it is a beautiful song, but it reminds me of my best friend, not River.
The night before my best friend, who'd been my neighbour left to go away for university a bunch of our girlfriends went out on the town for some drinks. At about 4 am me and my best friend walked home together and when we got to her street, which is one street over from my house, she jokingly started singing that very song to me. it quickly turned from a joke into a big crying scene, we hugged and cried and cried and hugged, i hadn't thought of the song in a very long time. I saw peral harbour(the song is from that movie) on tv the other day and got so sad becuase its been almost a year since I saw my friend. So i sent her a text message with the lyrics to the song in it. Thanks for posting it, it feels good to miss people sometimes !!!

Nice. I guess certain songs remind people of certain things, times, people. It is a nice song it was my second choice for the Bride and father song, but the lyrics werent right for it.

Songs can bring back strong thoughts, feelings, and memories. My first big love at age 24 turned out to be a sad affair. A song that goes something like, "Every night before I go to bed, my baby. I whisper a little prayer for you my baby. This is dedicated to the one I love."
When I used to hear that...oh my...tears would fall like rain because I figured that was my one chance at ever being in love, and having a love of my own. I believe love doesn't ever die for another, and at such a young tender love I got to where I didn't want to hear that song very much.
And to remember River who had such a unique background, and special skills to make it big in entertainment can be profound I'm sure.
