just to make him sound more real to me.

Say you two young and perhaps not literally crazy girls,
Maybe you two should meet together for coffee some time or write to each other online. Then use your wild imagination to dream of other things you both would like to do with a dead person you both obviously have such a dear love for. There would be no limits to what the two of you could come dream up.
For example you could compare notes to figure who loves River the most. Between the two of you surely your imagination would know no bounds. And when you both grew tired of comparing your love then you two could take turns with another fun imagine game. Every other time you both meet for coffee or write online to each other one of you could pretend to take on the role of being some famous and talented person.....just for fun lets call the person River Phoenix. yahoo for the both of you sane girls.
And if you try these imagine games properly this should relieve any pent up emotional/mental problems either or both of you have with not being able to talk and hold on to the real River who is unfortunately just a pile of bones by now. And these fun exercises may make it safer for the rest of us.

If any thing the two of you are it is not innocent....trust me on this one.
To be able to think that way toward a famous, talented person who happens to be dead is not the healthiest way to express one's feelings...if the two of you are serious.
I don't mean to rain on your parade, but not many of us would never even would think of being in such a circumstance. After all the poor man is dead...Try hard to get over such unusual thinking for your own health.
Survival in life can sometimes be challenging enough with out pining away for a dead some body whom a person has not ever really met.
