has anyone read joaquins "ROLLING STONE" artical where he walks out at the end? He says he dislikes interviews and media, that they "taint everything thats good about acting" does anyone think that maybe he should have thought more carefully when entering back into acting after the circus that was river death, or at least- thought more carfully when choosing the big budget roles as obviously his star is going to rise and he will get more and more of the attention he seems to dispise? thoughts?

I totally agree rikki. I don't get these stars today that claim they don't want attention, interviews, etc. And to take it to the point where you walk out on an interview astounds me. If you're going to act, doing promos and interviews go with the territory. If you don't like it, don't act.

i read this artical on the IMDB board. i really do think that if the press bothered Joaquin so much-he could get out of hollywood and do some other things that recieved LESS attention but that he would still get that same "buzz" from. I do not see the point in him pissing and moaning and walking out of interviews (WHICH FRANKLY, ARE PART OF HIS JOB TO DO!) about it. I bet there are un-known directors screaming for his sort of talent to jump aboard their project to make something great!

I think its because when he is interviewed they ask about river and he dont want to re-live that horror... who can blame him?

IT'S OBVIOUS THAT JOAQUIN WOULD GET THE MEDIA ON HIS CASE,RIVER'S DEATH WAS SUCH A PUBLIC THING THAT THERE'S NO WAY THAT HE CAN ESCAPE THE ATTENTION.
THE THING IS WHEN YOU BECOME AN ACTOR OR BECOME FAMOUS YOU HAVE INTRUSION ON EVERY LEVEL.

Your absolutely right Oregonbelle. There is a price that has to be pain for many things in life.
And of course like you said when it comes to being lucky enough to being a famous actor or actress a person is creating lots of things for other people. Like an image, idol worship of that image, a possibly large amount of popularity, needed security when going out or to various social events.
Then there is the needed propmotion of films, plays, t.v. series, and other media events. A person has to count the cost or what it will take to pay the price of being famous that is for sure.

I think celeb's do like the attention even though they say they don't,(unless personal of course)fuck me they have ego's the size of their house's,and yeah it's true why be an actor then or someone who is in the limelight if they don't like to be noticed.
