I was wondering if anyone here would know why you can't download songs sung by River Phoenix in movies such as "A Thing Called Love" off the internet? However, if you can, please notify me and let me know where you can download them. I just watched that movie recently and fell in love with his singing voice. I would think it'd be a shame if he never recorded any songs before he died.

River released two songs with his own band on animal rights benefit albums in the late 80's early 90's. If you want to hear clips of these, songs from "the thing called love" and others try-

I must say the thing about asking about our favorite music was really fun for me.
Since I get to sing at some churchs here locally; music really means a lot to me in my life. Music can help a person to work easier, play with more fun, and even helps with worship.

i don't know why they never released an actual soundtrack with the actors themselves singing. that would have been so wonderful for us.

I think River wanted to give up his movie career after completing his contract obligations, and turn to a music career didn't he? I haven't heard his music before with his band and sister. Do others think he was good enough to make it as a singer and get to the top of the charts?
