i really love river. I loved him back n the day. but when he died i felt disillusioned. I still was into him for a coupla years then he just faded from my thoughts. I recently got back into him about 7 months ago. Now i think about him all the time. I think if god created river. Cant he create another one? Obviously not exactly like him but a similiar type of guy? Im sure they exsist they just arent famous. I think River is very handsome. But honestly if i met a guy who was rivers twin but had an asshole unenlightened personality. That guy would be useless to me .I wanna write screenplays.so i study movies a lot. My two biggest inspirations are James Dean and Rio. Both were proponents of the method acting style. My screenwriting book says i have to study acting(even though i dont want to act myself) because in order to write credible dialog. I need to understand the art of acting. I have watched Silent Tounge over n over n 1 day maybe 7 times.sometimes with the sound off.I do that with Rebel w/o a cause too. I see myself as studying shots/acting/dialog etc. My friends think im a tad kooky. I had bleached my wavy hair like bleach/golden blonde. Yesterday i showed my mom Silent tounge which she enjoyed.(especially since we have native american blood in our fam)I decided to dye my hair Rivers true haircolor:Dark blonde. wasnt sure if maybe he is a bit more ash dark blonde than the slightly golden dark blonde dye i used. It looks soooooo good i love it. I am not going back to yellow blonde for awhile!oh yeah is anybody gonna watch the new two coreys show. they were never my favorites but it is nostalgic.

im so glad your studying acting to become a screenwriter- you'll be all the better for it indeed, i dont think its kooky at all- if your serious about it, its the only way i agree, both river and james deans acting is enlightning and breathtaking to watch, however- call me bias but ive always rated river above James dean for the simple fact that dean was trained by the best, the actors studio in new york and river being entirly self-taught was able to master things trained actors could only dream of! by the way- rivers natural hair colour was brown (im a bit of an obsessive myself!) but he did once dye his hair platinum blonde so you got that right without trying! lol!
im definatly watching the corey's show- for complete nostalgic purposes as well you understand!

hey thanks for yr responce. i had bleached (my hair)yellow blond 4 months ago. yesterday i dyed it Dark blonde(so said the label)> I think its close to his color but a bit more golden than his roots. I am so happy to finally have a place to unleash my interest in Rio. Its stuff like this forum that keeps his energy in our world! oh and ive seen the pics of him platinum blonde,the pics were taken by Gus Van Sant,to see how Rio would look in an Andy Warhol pic Gus was intending to make. Hey i have been scrounging the internet for info on Rio's sexuality. I know its a bit salacious and really none of our beeswax. But i found some interesting stuff.I think its cool if he was bi. hey everyone, after reading dakotas responce to my post. I was a bit hurt. I am a sensitive type (prob why i connect with Rio so much). I reacted angrily to what i felt was an attack on me. I am new to this forum and I have read thru it a bit. I was under the assumption this page was for those interested in SHARING their love and admiration for Rio. I didnt realize some people see it as the eqivilant to the school cafeteria. Where you can publicly harass or attempt to humiliate someone. Also I did not realize that there is some "standard" of apreciation which according to Dakota we are not allowed to surpass. Lest she/he deem us too obsessed with Rio. I refuse to "Curb my enthusiasm" when it comes to rio.I already said i was(a little) kooky and obsessed. I am a hippiechic and IN NO WAY interested in conforming. To anyones norms of what my behavior/opinions (in any aspect) should be. Rio was about the LOVE principle (i belive). NOT the insult/hatred/bully principle. I send u love n light ,I am sorry i let your darkness bring out my darkness dakota. Those insults i lauded at you are not me. Hi Goddessa I'm sorry to know that dakota hurt your feelings.I just want to give you one advice: Forget her and just ignore her postings.If none of us respond to her provocative postings she will eventualy get tired and leave this forum.I like you already (the fact that you love River is enough for me to like you LOL ).I saw yesterday the movie Sneakers and altough Rio didn't appear in there much I laughed to see some funny scenes of him Even when he was playing a nerd he just looked real cute lol (or maybe I'm becoming a little obsessed myself... )

You may not realize it especially since you don't know me, but we have some things in common. I've had interesting judgement calls against me simply for expressing my faith, and my concern for other's. There was an interesting character called "funkey monkey" and other's including the "kind" (ahem) Dakota who has accused me of being mentally ill. Just for expressing my love for God, and how I do have a relationship with Him.
Plus I am not the conventional Christian for lots of reasons. I have a concern for those on the local streets here, and am more then willing to talk to young people, older people, addicted people, and wanting to hug and comfort the drunken people. So, I've experienced some rejection, but a lot of acceptence by my on line friends here.
Like Rikki, although a confirmed atheist, treats me like a king.
Like Val who has stood up for me, and is such a neat person.
Like fatymma who is kind of new, but has a good heart in my opionion, and have had the opportunity to offer my advice from experience in faith.
Please don't let one run you off. The first time I was accused of being mentally ill here I almost didn't come back. But its made me stronger. Now I don't pay attention to someone who is so very aggressive and perhaps even, yes, mean.
Even though you may find some jerks even here like the rest of the world there are a lot of terrific people who have come back over time.

i love that people of completely different backgrounds and belifes can be brought together by one thing - thats just amazing.
everyone is entitled to their religious choices and obsessions none of that should come into whether or not we can be kind to each other, its irrelvent. Respecting that everyone is not the same and that people think differently is key. Anyone who doesnt agree with or appriciate that- i have no time for.
