The Viper Room, which sits on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip, has been sold to Pink Taco Restaurants founder Harry Morton, whose father Peter Morton founded the Hard Rock Cafes and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Only minor cosmetic changes will be made the 250-capacity Los Angeles venue, and its new owner plans to expand the Viper Room brand into locations in Las Vegas, Miami, Portland, Seattle, New York, London and Tokyo.

I still check this spot out fairly often. This place either has a bunch of responses all at once or else periods of quite repose.

Thanks for the info..it sounds like he is going to keep it pretty much the same as it is..as long as he still allows the tributes to be put out every year then alot of people will still be happy.
