i.m sorry if this upsets anybody but does anyone think that sometimes pictures like this should be used in places like schools to tell children of the dangers of such drugs ..
i know the picture of a young girl found in a bedsit was made public and so was leah betts i.m not sure if anyone remembers these cases at all .
but i know one thing i have never touched drugs at all and this was all down to these disturbing images that were shown everywhere at the time it happened .
i.m i wrong in thinking that maybe this will make people think before they even try these drugs what they are doing and what the conseqences truely are

*"i know the picture of a young girl found in a bedsit was made public and so was leah betts i.m not sure if anyone remembers these cases at all"*

i remember that.

Chris Farley's OD picture was also made available for an 'anti drugs' campaign- on billboards in the U.S.

of course, the thing with both these cases is that is was their families desicion. the families of both parties decided that the photos of their loved ones would benefit other young people. which is their right. when that right is stolen by someone stealing a picture of your loved dead its a different matter, which is why i say, no, river's photo should not be used in this way as by rights, the photo shouldnt exsist at all.

I agree with Rikki.

I mean there are so many things in society where a person is forced to do things with or with out a person's consent. Having to pay taxes, having to submit at a job, having to obey some laws that are either not necessary or laws that hurt honest people more then dishonest individuals.

I believe in human dignity; especially because of my personal faith; and choices like this should be up to the family's decison after one dies. Its a good thing if the family decides to help that way, but if the pain of death or other private considerations are part of it they should not be suprised by a death photo.

Again, on a side note, how are you doing Rikki? I still think of you as an on line friend. And definitely my longest friend on line I've had. You have been a good encouragement, and a person who is tolerant of a Christ like spiritual person in spite of your own views. Here in America you have one person who hasn't forgotten you, and prays for you.
