I'm sure we all have heard what happened on River's last day and of course it was his fault for what happened. I'm sure you guys have heard that john frusciante and River were doing drugs together the night he died. What bothers me is according to Barry's book (the most accurate book about river) when river snorted (NOT DRANK) the stuff and felt sick, John left the bathroom. I mean complete strangers were in the bathroom helping him and his friend ran for the hills. Who does that to a friend? He could have called 911 (he didnt have to say that he was doing drugs with him) or at least let someone know..I know its been almost 16 years but damn..so many what ifs...

Mmmm it is so sad and hard to understand. And the what ifs are so painful... Could River maybe have survived if his friend had helped him more? It's hard to say, and I guess maybe he was in quite a bad way and just wanted to escape, not really a justification of any sought but I guess we have to give people benefit of the doubt. We musn't blame everyone around, as it perhaps makes it harder to accept the truth...
