Halfbridled's First North American Starter

Half Strike, a 3YO ridgling by Smart Strike debuts on Saturday at SA for Mandella. He is a homebred for Wertheimer & Frere

This is the first of Halfbridled's foals to start in North America. She had a 2007 filly by Giant's Causeway that raced poorly in France and a 2008 filly by A.P. Indy that hasn't made it to the track. She also has a 2YO of 2012 by Giant's Causeway.

Works are promising and the breeding seems pretty special. I will be watching with some interest.
