"One of the best racehorses in the last quarter century and a firm favorite with racing fans, Holy Bull has succumbed to the infirmities of old age and was put down on June 7 at Jonabell Farm, his home since his retirement to stud in 1995."

While this was as painful to watch today as it was on that August day in 1994 I appreciate you posting the link, hooper. CONCERN was my Travers "Selection" page top pick that year and I somehow inherited someone's finish line seats. Brutal to see Bailey switch the whip to the left hand so deep in the stretch only to run out of race track! One of my 3 toughest Travers beats as it was equaled twice since with RAFFIE'S MAJESTY and MAMBO IN SEATTLE!

Let's not lose sight of the title of the thread however.
