From the parking lot...
players can either go RIGHT to the casino,

...or players can go LEFT to the race track.

The airplanes landing at LAX fly right over Hollywood Park.

Great pics Dell. [linked image] Hat day hmm?

I don't know why Hollywood Park gets a bad rap.
But I love the scenery I just saw here.

As for Mr. Pincay jr.
He's a bit on the shy side with the fans, is he not?

Given all the practice they get...
It's good to see jockeys get "really dressed" up once in a while. wink.gif

Beautiful pics and I wonder if the 1 with Laffit and Dell would inspire Neil Simon out of retirement to do another Odd Couple series. Dell would make a perfect Oscar.

Beautiful indeed.
Dell must have gotten photography tips from The Master.

Pincay

July 12 2009, 10:08 PM

"Laffit Pincay began his riding career in his native Panama. In 1966, prominent horseman Fred W. Hooper and agent Camilo Marin sponsored him to come to the United States and ride under contract. He started his American career at Arlington Park in Chicago and won eight of his first eleven races."
Fred Hooper also brought Hall of Famers Braulio Baeza and Jorge Velasquez to the US.
