WELL DONE MAN!!!

Man I can hardly wait till I get out of this sweltering Gulf heat and get up there! Woodward week is still a month away--BUT-the old lady and kid are heading down to Charlotte County for a week at the beach--do I have the way-woes to sneak in a 24hr trip?

Hmmm...I mean if I leave a big pile of dog food--and they drink out of the pool anyway....

If it gets any friggen hotter I will start walking!

The local OTB TV channel shows the Saratoga races on a tape delay, but they have permission to show the last race live. So I watch as the Linda Rice-trained Karakorum horse wins and pays a nice price (BTW, good pick Bob). The horses return to be unsaddled, they lead the winner into the enclosure, and......"WTF is that guy with the kilt doing in there? Oh, it's just Bev Hendry. Honey, you might wanna come see this..."

Thank you for the photos, they're terrific. Thanks for hanging out with us, too, we had a blast. Have a safe trip back.

We can not thank you enough for running the contest, posting the daily pictures etc and adding greatly to our Saratoga fun. We left Saratoga today with super memories and of course sadness,but we are already planning a return trip this season. All the best to you , Colleen and all the UIC members (even Spanky) who make this the best racing forum around.

Meanwhile, poor Spank is reporting off his 8 year old laptop while stretched out under a shade tree with a worm in the water, a warm 6 pack and a half pint of Old Granddad bourbon. Hang on, I got a bite....
