I have a day off from my caregiving responsibilities for my grandmother, so I am taking my husband, his favorite aunt Frieda, and my parents to Opening Day @ Santa Anita. Hopefully the rain will stay away and it will be a beautiful day.

Regarding the higher take looming at Santa Anita, remember it does not take effect until January 1st., so bet all you want today.

Went down to the beach last night...
celebrating Aunt Frieda's 83rd birthday!

She has discovered the computers @ the community Senior Center,
so here's a great big HELLO to the folks at the center... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT FRIEDA!

Turns out the great-granddaughter l-o-v-e-s horses
and a trip to the beautiful infield at Santa Anita Park
is in the planning stages... it's in the blood, this love of horses.
