Thank you to Mr. Eddie Wright for forwarding this important information!

Dell,

I just saw this but I'm assuming you already saw this and may have responded.
Just a heads up just in case you didn't.

Eddie

Subject: ACTION NEEDED - Feedback needed before transition to Tapatalk Groups 1746777

Dear Network 54 Moderator,

Greetings!
As you might know, Network54 forums will be migrated to the Tapatalk Groups platform in the near future.
With the move to Tapatalk Groups, we will be able to provide your forum stable, fast servers, along with
many additional features and options to run your site.

Before your forum moves to Tapatalk Groups platform, we'll provide you a preview of your site
so you can review the new layout and to make sure all the data transferred correctly.

Before we prepare your test migration, we need your feedback on two items:

*** Migrate all your forums into one group or multiple? ***

As background, Network54 only allows one forum per group. This means that your members need to log in
to different groups in order to visit your forums.

We can migrate all your forums into one group, allowing just one sign-in
and a full display of all your forums on one page.

Or, if you prefer, we can migrate them into multiple forums

*** The preferred name of the forum? ***
In the URL of your Network54 site, your site is identified by a number.
In Tapatalk Groups, your site will be in the URL.
By example:https://www.tapatalk. com/groups/nameofyourforum.

We will redirect the forums to the new URL
We need the feedback on your preferred name of your site

Can you please respond to this email by January 31st with the following

*** Migrate all your forums into one group or multiple? ***
*** The preferred name of the forum? ***

If we do not hear back by the January 31st, we will prepare your preview of your site
with our best guess of single or multiple forums, and the best guess of your forum name.

And as one of the top forums in Network54, we like to offer to jump on a call
to discuss these options in more detail. Let us know if you like to jump on a call.

All this tech stuff reminds me of Baklava. It's Greek to me! LOL.

The best of luck with your procedure, Dell. Will keep a good thought.

Thank you, Larry... between visits to the hospital I am able to check in on our forum.
It took us 13 years to get UpInClass to where we are and how we look today... I actually like
the way the place looks and am frustrated at losing all the work that has been put in to the place.
Tapatalk bought Network54 and therefore controls all the information ever posted here at UpInClass.
Today or tomorrow they will provide me with a "test" look at the forum migration they are offering.
Tapatalk will "migrate" all that we have created so I can preview the new site before any change is final.
This is an example of another Tapatalk forum... and I must say, I am not at all impressed!
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/whiteroseforum

We may simply have to start from scratch (thus losing every post ever written here on our forum.
We'll see what it looks like soon and decide if we want to keep it under their new format or start over.

That was a surprise to me too Spider, Last contact I had with her was a few years ago after she went to work for Rick Porter. I didn't know Dell was having a problem and my prayers go out to him and Heather. I've never heard of Tapatalk but I have to assume Dell is doing what if best for all involved.

lol...do not these raise their prices when there is an increase in members ???....seems 'i' have come across this happening before over the years...they build up their site to sell it to another when the site has value....or is it free ??...if so, then perhaps all members can have a site of their own from sch....lol..just a thought...lol

I suggest that we all exchange contact information with a few other members in case something happens without warning. That way we can stay connected until we are able to land somewhere else. Like what happened after losing the Bloodhorse Forum.

That will not happen again.

Here's a preview of the Tapatalk offering:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/upinclass/

Commercials... unless members pay a monthly fee.
"Donations" go to Tapatalk for commercial free forum experience.
NOPE. No, sir... no thank you. Don't like it. Not gonna do it!

We own the www.UPINCLASS.com domain. Tapatalk wants to monetize it.
While I appreciate the effort and offer to MIGRATE our existing data,
I am willing to start over at one of the free platforms available. Stay tuned.
