Well, I'm not going to try to analyze the whole field......I never was one to do that anyway, but here's my 4 fillies that I like the most as of now.
Dance Away Capote - Had a horrendous start at Keeneland, made up 10 lengths while at least 4 wide turning for home, only beaten 3/4 for it all......flattened out a bit in deep stretch (perhaps a function of the wide trip). Won by 12 around 2 turns 2 back. Thought her trip in the Alcibiades was equally as bad as Sense Of Style's, and she still beat that one.......who was going 2 turns for the first time. I absolutely love this filly!
Sweet Catomine - What's not to like? There's the question of the ship, but that's a question for everybody in the mix. Her Oak Leaf was a pip, and I'm leaning toward a double key here in my own trifecta. And maybe Storm Cats sweep the Juvies?
Sense Of Style - Such a quality filly, and can't throw her out off of her last because of the trip. She may be one of the best bred for 2 turns in the field.
Sharp Lisa - Interesting on a couple of counts. Loses Nakatani to Sweet Catomine. I guess that's understandable......but picks up Dettori? Racing for Doug O'Neill?....Also bred nicely for the trip. She just plain intrigues me.....
I'm throwing out Balleto because she's a NY shipper with no 2-turn experience, Runway Model because I think she benefited from a couple of bad trips by others, In The Gold because I don't like Groovy on the bottom, and Culinary (who I like very much) because I'm not sure if she has the necessary class.
