Too soon for me to tell, but the one I've been quietly eyeing is Sharp Lisa. Will know more some time this weekend or early next week.

No big surprises here in my mind:

I'm liking Sharp Lisa and Ready's Gal...also Balletto, Sweet Catomine and a nice longshot, Culinary.

Well, I'm not going to try to analyze the whole field......I never was one to do that anyway, but here's my 4 fillies that I like the most as of now.

Dance Away Capote - Had a horrendous start at Keeneland, made up 10 lengths while at least 4 wide turning for home, only beaten 3/4 for it all......flattened out a bit in deep stretch (perhaps a function of the wide trip). Won by 12 around 2 turns 2 back. Thought her trip in the Alcibiades was equally as bad as Sense Of Style's, and she still beat that one.......who was going 2 turns for the first time. I absolutely love this filly!

Sweet Catomine - What's not to like? There's the question of the ship, but that's a question for everybody in the mix. Her Oak Leaf was a pip, and I'm leaning toward a double key here in my own trifecta. And maybe Storm Cats sweep the Juvies?

Sense Of Style - Such a quality filly, and can't throw her out off of her last because of the trip. She may be one of the best bred for 2 turns in the field.

Sharp Lisa - Interesting on a couple of counts. Loses Nakatani to Sweet Catomine. I guess that's understandable......but picks up Dettori? Racing for Doug O'Neill?....Also bred nicely for the trip. She just plain intrigues me.....

I'm throwing out Balleto because she's a NY shipper with no 2-turn experience, Runway Model because I think she benefited from a couple of bad trips by others, In The Gold because I don't like Groovy on the bottom, and Culinary (who I like very much) because I'm not sure if she has the necessary class.

Dance Away Capote
Sweet Catomine
Sense Of Style
Sharp Lisa

There it is guys. What say you?

Sorry I've been non-active. I've been swamped.

I can't believe Sense of Style is getting such little respect. All because of a race in which the trainer warned everyone that she wasn't cranked, that they were gearing up for the BC. And this from a trainer known for his training of 2YOs. The way the industry is talking, I'm hoping to see 6-1 or 8-1 on her come Saturday.

Pas, put me in the strong SoS category.

After much consideration, here is where my choices stand.

Balletto
Sense of Style
Sweet Catomine
Play With Fire
Mona Lisa

I don't have a great feeling about this, with the exception of I'll be using Balletto as a single on my P3's. I have no doubt the distance is right for her, and Bailey will be a welcome addition to ensure she stays close but doesn't burn up...should get the cleanest of trips and save a ton of ground in the race. I really like Culinary and Marquez is one of my favorite local jocks, but both of them will be in over their head IMO.

Pas, let me know what our ticket says when it's all said and done.

This strictly looks like a 3 filly race to me. Balleto is going to get a dream trip along the inside and never fails to fire. Sweet Catomine is working well after her big win at the distance. Culinary is going to be my personal bet in here. She's only been one turn against arguably weaker (runnerup won the G2 Alcibiades in her next start) but her finishes have been phenomenal. If she can kick like that going two turns, she'll leave these in her wake down the lane.

Well, the consensus seems to have come up with three:

Balleto
Sense Of Style
Sweet Catomine

The problem is with the 4th suspect. Culinary, Sharp Lisa, or Dance Away Capote. I think Culinary is going to be wise-guy'd......she'll be no more than 8-1 at post.

Nevertheless, I think she's the one for that 4th spot.

We will post:
Balleto
Sense Of Style
Sweet Catomine
Culinary

Good Luck to All!
