A tragic loss with the sudden retirement of Devine Proportions.

As usual, trying to figure out who might show up from overseas is the $64k question.

Rakti is a definite, but is a total knucklehead to handle during saddling and post parade. IF, he behaves, has a solid shot to win, but that's a big IF !!!

Filly Soviet Song, Godolphin's Dubawi [impressive GI Jaques le Marois winner] runners up Valixir, Whipper all can stick their nose in front, but who might come acallin'???

Euro sleeper: Oratorio, trained by O'Brien who did defeat Motivator ar 10 panels.

Local fun bunch:

Leroidesanimaux races Saturday at Toga, best US chance to win.

Artie Schiller is a very nice hoss, Mr. Light is a terrific closer.

Kittens Joy should be entered here, where they might have a chance to win. IMO, no shot in the BC Turf, just don't believe he's a bonafide 12f hoss.

Choice: same as last year, Rakti.

I have been waiting all year to bet Leroy in the Mile. I'm down to two months to go and I'm getting antsy. Obviously I need to see which Euro's show up, but I do think Leroy will love the one turn mile at Belmont. By the way Sheets, Mr. Light has been retired.
