I had hoped the Niarchos clan might take a shot at the F/M Turf with D.P. which is a much softer spot than the Mile, but oh well.

As with the Mile, which Euro's are coming? Like CB, I'll be keeping an eye on the euro's for betting purposes.

Alexander Goldrun is 6-4-1-1 at 10 panels but is pointing to the Prix de l'Opera and Hong Kong Cup, no mention of the BC.

H H Aga Khan's tuff filly Shawanda is pointing to the Prix Vermeille in early September with a possible run in the Arc in her future. BC?

Godolphin's Punctilious has regained her form after two dismal starts to start the year.

If only 2nd stringers come over the home team has a shot to win this heat.

Mott's Giant Causeway filly My Typhoon is on the improve. 10f--??

Angara ran a nice one in the Beverly D.

Wonder Again: only if Prado gets the big, size 18 boot in the azz off the horse. Time for a change Mr Toner.

Schoconage will go on a win streak with the addition of blinkers, no telling what her level is. Has nice TG figs..

Melhor Ainda is a nice filly.

Solid tri crasher, Bill Mott's other runner Sand Spring.

My brain is a pile of mush at this hour, will re-focus later.

Film Maker

Sheets

Keep Film Maker on your short list. She was second to Ouija Board last year, and Motion will have her at absolute peak on Oct 29th just like he did with Better Talk Now last year. All of her 2nd and 3rd place finishes will have bettors looking elsewhere for the winner.Todd Kabel up helps the price also. She's a quirky filly, and he'll have been on her twice before the FM TURF.One more prep at Belmont and she'll be ready to roll.

Is the switch to Kabel permanent and how did that come about? Had me completely perplexed in her last at Saratoga.

Motion uses a few different riders all of them capable.Film Maker is supposedly not easy to ride. They've used a lot of different riders on her-some due to rider commitments others due to scheduling, but they've never been able to use the same rider on her on a regular basis-hence the move to Kabel at least thru the Breeders Cup.He's a fine grass rider-the race at Saratoga she was giving weight and trip to Honey Ryder-don't worry about that one.Unless there is a dominant filly/mare coming over for the BC you can throw a blanket over the rest of these.Trip and who is in top form will seperate them.I know Motion will have her as good as he can get her. It's up to trip and pace and racing luck, but Film Maker is going to be a decent price and worth gambling on for me.
