Canadian International will grab a few BC runners. Lots of money [$1.5 mill], less competition. Again Euro contingent will change things.
TURF:
Azamour [7/2]---John Oxx trainee hoping for firm ground
Bago [8-1]---back problem has compromised recent efforts
Gun Salute [15-1]---tries to wire them, 12f big question.
Kings Drama [9/2]---rumored to be heading to International week before.
Motivator [5/2]---BC Turf to be last career race for 3yo
Better Talk Now [10-1]---last years winner got lucky, not so this time.
Powerscourt [10-1]---In my opinion, not a bonafide 12f horse
Shakespeare [9/2]---undefeated wiseguy horse [do they ever win?] has yet to see 12 panels
Relaxed Gesture [20-1]---hasn't won in Graded co. thus far, but is close.
Ace [20-1]---O'Brien trainee may need lasix, keep an eye on this one
English Channel [10-1]---not as good as some people think.
Electrocutionist [9/2]---would be interesting addition to this race.
I'm curious to see what Shakespeare does this weekend. Of the Americans he's my choice. Again this is another case of I need to see which Euro's come over for this race.
Good analysis
Dont forget Hurricane Run the favourite for Sunday's Arc.
He is owned by Michael Tabor and good run on Sunday may well
convince his connections that Turf is worth chasing despite their
other horses in the race.
He is currently a big looking 15-1 in the Futures markets in Vegas.
