Isn't Stan usually on here by now pimpin his Breeder's Cup numbers? It usually picks this place up a bit since everyone gets all riled up. It gets entertaining and we could use it as it's been a bit on the slow side lately. Maybe I'm just looking for trouble lol.

64% of all UIC members want to argue with Stan, and these 64% make 85% of all postings, creating a .544 CIIV (Cari-Induced Impact Value) vs. a Standard Impact Value of 0.1.......so Stan, come back, we need ya!

Note: This 0.544 impact value is exceeded only by the 1.00 impact value of posters who yearn for the steel cage match between Dudley & Funnier Cide.....

US stats for 2004:

* Average number of starters per race was 8.3. So, each horse's random chance of winning was about 12%.

* But favorites won about 33 - 35% of the time.

* Betting only the favorites has an impact value of 2.7 (.33/.12 = 2.7)

Now we can all get rich by betting the favorite in every race that is run! Unless impact values have no meaning.

A family walks into a talent agency. It's a father, mother, son, daughter and dog. The father says to the talent agent, "We have a really amazing act. You should represent us."...

Hoop, you are one clever man. Nicely done!

BTW, sorry to read about Mr. Pons. I know that you have a lot of respect for the family.
