Looking at possibilities in the mile on Brisnet, and the late pace figure for Gorella jumped off the page at me. Yeah, I know they were walking till the turn for home, but still....I think that might be the biggest disparity between a first and second horse pace fig that I've seen. Worth a look at a generous price.
Meanwhile, some of the "nags" Valixir has beaten include Starcraft , Rakti, and Bago. If he can run back to his summer form, he's tough. Hard to overlook Fabre/Trempolino in this race.
Maybe Leroy ain't a slam dunk after all.....
