Ditto me on that. I'm in NY so just tell me what I gotta do. We've got a lot of speculating to do because the F&M Turf is the first race on grass we'll see for the week. I don't think it'll be as soft as many people believe. The wind was howling at Belmont today and I don't think there will be any more rain between now and then. Peace.
For the bet what about a tri-part wheel al la Timmye? One key horse in all 3 slots, with 4 supporting? A $36 bet, the three of us toss in $12 apiece...
Croix Boy, should be a great weekend of racing (I'm assuming by NY you mean Elmont on at least Saturday)....enjoy!
I'm on the Quick team, also for Filly & Mare Turf, & we constructed the same tri part-wheel bet:
Wonder Again keyed w/
Ouija & Film Maker (first two choices), Megahertz, Mona Lisa
Since all proceeds go to the same charity it seems like we should have some differences in the ticket, so we shouldn't key on Wonder Again. Since we won last year keying on Ouija Board, and if we agree she looks strong, why not key on her? We can have Wonder Again & Film Maker as the next two, & in the interest of diversity we should probably get a couple mares other than Megahertz & Mona Lisa. You threw in Favorable Terms, & if we throw out her last she would be likely be the favorite; no problem including her. The one I would include is Luas Line.
Let's keep it the same as last year, key a filly in spots 1 and 2 with four others. No problem keying Ouija,Film or Wonder.Hopefully CB and Nola will check in,if not I'm leaving at 10:30 am est for the simulcast site so we'll wrap it up early Sat if that's ok.
