Made two today, Too Much Bling at 14-1 and Layer Ron at 50-1.
I really like Bling in the Sprint and wasn't sure I'd get those odds on BC day. ML had him at 10-1, but I'm thinking he'll go off no higher than 8-1. We'll see. Not to blow my own horn, but I've always seemed to have an affinity for this race. My first BC wager was on Thirty Slews in '92. I had Cajun Beat singled on a p3 ticket which, unfortunately ended up a loser. Had Thunderello similarly situated on a p3 ticket that had Domedriver on it as well and was also on Mr. Greeley, these latter two running second at high odds. Bling won't be as big of a stretch this year, but I'll profit more if he wins.
Lawyer Ron did a lot earlier before throwing a bad one in the Derby. I like his T'Graph line and first Pletcher. At 50-1, I may or may not have bought some value. Pesonally, I don;t see him going off that high. But I've valued longshots higher than the crowd on many occasions before.
You are in the ballpark with 14-1 GAM. I wrote TMB up at 16-1 and he surely has a shot at somewhere in the mid teens. I know both Dell and Greg are very high on his chances and I personally love the long layoff horses in this race generally speaking. (This years' top couple of picks notwithstanding)
