Looks like good to soft turf is virtually guaranteed. We can all look at the pp's and make our assessments about horses who have fared well or not so well on soft ground. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has heard comments by connections or knowledgable observers about how horses might fare in the off going.
Obviously, Wait A While and After Market have been identified as having problems with the off going. Dylan Thomas might be vulnerable too. Any others? Besides the obvious ones, like Better Talk Now, who's chances improve?
Her form seems to confirm that. Someone at DRF or Bloodhorse (I forget which) wrote that she will hate the soft going! Don't see the basis for that claim. I think Pletcher's filly Danzon could be another nice longshot in the off going. The same guy says Passage of Time is expected to relish soft ground, yet the clocker's report said that she was having trouble with it yesterday!
