No matter the conditions, LARRY'S PICKS see this colt victorious in the circle!

“NETJETS BREEDERS’ CUP MILE”
1 MILE ON TURF FOR 3 YEAR OLDS & UP ($2 MILLION)

1ST - TRIPPI’S STORM 13-1 JOCKEY – JAVIER CASTELLANO

In a race that has been very good to readers of LARRY’S PICKS with top selection winners DOMEDRIVER ($54.00) and SINGLETARY ($35.00) winning in the last 5 years, another price horse jumps out at me today. Javier Castellano likely had his choice of this gelding or NOBIZ LIKE SHOBIZ, a Triple Crown campaigner who is 3-3 since switching to the grass. Drawn well in the 6 hole, Castellano should be able to carve out a mid-pack stalking trip and if he takes to the soft going and has some racing luck, he may get the nod in what will likely be a multi- horse blanket finish!

2ND - KIP DEVILLE 8-1 JOCKEY – CORNELIO VELASQUEZ

With 6 wins in 9 lifetime tries at a Mile, this 4 year old colt comes here off a narrow loss in a Grade 1 Stake at Woodbine on 09-16-07 when he may have moved too soon. His connections spent $300,000.00 for the privilege to run in this spot and this prior winner over a course labeled “soft” figures to give a good account of himself!

3RD - HOST 33-1 JOCKEY – GARRETT GOMEZ

1-1 at Monmouth, this 7 year old has an excellent overall record at the distance but is prone to buying “trouble” when in larger fields. A strong closer, he drew well in the 4 hole and if the anticipated soft course takes a toll on the speeds, he may finish with authority to spice up the exotics.

“SAVER” - EXCELLENT ART 4-1 JOCKEY – JOHN MURTAGH

The best of the Euros should relish some “give” in the course but he was not treated kindly in the post draw.
