He's poised to win the whole darn shootin'-match on the Road To The Breeders' Cup.

1 298 illini stable Roselle, Illinois
2 293 Willner Stable Farmington Hills, Michigan
3 290 *Mudlark Vancouver, British Columbia
3 290 De Niro Studio City, California

Screen Name: De Niro

1957 was a big year. The Russians put that Sputnik into outer space,
the Dodgers played their last game at Ebbets Field to say goodbye to Brooklyn,
that guy shot Frank Costello in the head, and missed, and the Gallo brothers
whacked Albert Anastasia in the barber shop of the Sheraton View hotel. It was total chaos.
With Anastasia out of the way, Vito Genovese figures he's the big boss.
But Carlo Gambino and Joe Bananas, they had other ideas. So they called a meeting.
A big meeting.

illini, Willner, and *Mudlark would be all at that meeting
and I knew... they had to be whacked.

Ladies & Gentlemen...
I wanted to take a moment to send best wishes and great luck
to a darn fine actor/handicapper and member here at UpInClass.

Mr. Jerry Hauck

GO GET'EM, De Niro!!!

It's been a number of years since we worked together
on an episode of VIP with the lovely and talented Pamela Anderson.

She called this evening and asked me to wish you the very best of luck in the contest.
(apparently, she's lost your phone number... didn't you two date for awhile?) ~ Badactor

Great post Badactor. De Niro has been at the top of the Road to the BC standings for some time now and should be set up for a big point count on BC day. Given his handicapping success and acting resume, should we hereafter refer to him as Goodactor? LOL

Cruz, with all due respect to your contest skills, don't count on DeNiro folding in the stretch. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with Jerry in a couple of team competitions and can assure you that he has one of the strongest closing kicks around.

cruzan-contest lover...
I would never-ever "count out" a past UpInClass Open champion, such as yourself!
Just wanted to give a little shout out to my union brother and fellow thespian.
In fact, I've got a pocketful of Road To The Breeders' Cup TRIFECTA-BOX tickets
which include you, Jerry, JolyB... and that hopeless longshot gknepper!

Jolyb, Badactor,
I hear ya.....the way this thing boils down to the last 4 races, the BC mile and BC turf doesnt really have a contender in both races...i could be wrong, but that's how i see it...most likely, he has the same horses as i do for both classics..so we're even there..however, on the mile and turf, i have two that has driven me to my current standing.
what about the jokeys and trainers? are they not adding them anymore?

Just face it already Cruz. You're going down faster than a down on her luck stripper.

I joke. I joke.

Best of luck to all you contest crazies!!!

Great post Dell and great job and best of luck to Jerry. Super job so far and I am sure that you will carry it to the finish.

Cruz - I am suprised to see you be negative toward a fellow member. It was a no class comment. My $1,000 to your $100 that De Niro beats you at Road to the Breeders Cup. Are we on????????????????????????

THANKS Dell!

Dell, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this overwhelming post. It's awfully nice of you (and Pamela is just so HOT :>).

And a HUGE thank you to all of the players here who have extended their well wishes. I really appreciate it.

The Road To The Breeder's Cup is a ridiculously difficult contest to win (or even do well in). There is a great deal of luck involved (both good and bad).

So I wish each and every one of you the very best of luck on both BC Days.

As I always try to do, I'll give it my best shot and we'll see how it all unfolds.

THANKS again.

i'm not bashing, nor am i been negative toward anyone. i wished the man well...all i said was
" Don't count me out yet". from my understand, this was about him already winning the whole thing due to his sizeable lead. i certainly hopes he wins it all. so, hold on to your money.
Not to worry, i'll keep my mouth shut.

Sorry Dell if i'm been too sensitive.
