I'm ususally good for at least one longshot in the Breeders Cup. This year I've settled on Eagle Mountain. South African Michael de Kock has taken over his training. Was just off for a year and came back and won at 1 mile which isn't his best distance. Ran second last year to the top class Literato in the Group 1 Champion Stakes. Has been looking very good in his morning workouts and on top of that, I heard he's been taking a lot of money with the British bookies.

Not a bad day overall. Cashed on Midshipman (win and pick 3), Midnight Lute, and an exacta with Conduit on top of Eagle Mouintain. Thought he ran great but came up just a bit short. It would have meant a huge day for me as I had him win and would have cashed two pick 3's around him, but I'm not complaining.
