Zenyatta: Living Legend

I tip my cap to Zenyatta. In my opinion, this was one of the saltiest Distaffs ever, and Zenyatta beat them as professionally as she could. Music Note, Cocoa Beach, Ginger Punch...they are all out of matches.......

She is a true living legend, along side Lady's Secret, Personal Ensign, Inside Information, Bayakoa, and Paseana.

Dream Race: Zenyatta vs. Commentator and/or Curlin in the Clark Handicap on Thanksgiving weekend.

NO CHANCE.

It's almost funny....Zenyatta drops back first time past the post and gallops around the clubhouse turn. She isn't in any hurry down the backstretch....until the far turn. She starts to kick it in on the turn, and it's all over.

Watch the replay....she's about 6 paths wide on the turn at the quarter pole. Poor Cocoa Beach was running a winning race on the inside but she had no chance.

Zenyatta is an absolute freak. She's just going to win. Pace doesn't mean anything to her, and there's no competition that means anything to her either.

What's left for her to do? Not much, but I really think Ann & Jerry will race her next year.

Gawd I hope so!

Unreal, just unreal. I hope they bring her back next year for a light campaign and attempt the Classic.

As impressive as Z was, I think Ventura and Stardom Bound were equally as impressive. Anyone want to chip in and purchase Stardom Bound with me next week???

Agree on all 3, though Maram's thrilling win was my fav from a financial point of view.

Closers on the cushion track (tomorrow) have to be encouraged.

Zenyatta: Living Legend

On her way to run in the Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic

And Away She Goes...

First time past the stands, Zenyatta isn't in the picture...

by the top of the stretch, however... she was clearly THE CHAMPION!

I wasn't a big fan of the split days, but I have to be honest, I really enjoyed today as a fan.

Ventura - Awesome

Stardom Bound - Fantastic

Zenyatta - She's just unreal and an absolute treat to watch.

Forever Together - Tremendous stretch run

Maram - Gives Chad Brown his 1st Breeders Cup win after only training for a year. His Grandfather passed away a couple of days ago so hopefully today lifted his spirits a bit.

Great score on this one Shoes. I hope you cashed large!!!

I have to give some credit to Trevor Denman as well. I've stated in the past that I'm not a fan of his, but I've began to warm up to him. Maybe I'm getting soft lol.

He had a brutal day two years ago, but turned it around last year. This must be a huge treat for him to call the BC in a relaxed setting at one of his "home" tracks. I thought he did a nice job today. Good for him. He seems like an extremely nice guy.

Day 1 was great. Hopefully Day 2 is even better.

I figured I'd lay back and just watch. That was until my cuz almost scores big.Told a friend I'm play ALL Johnny Mutaugh's mounts.Still managed a good score.I had Heart Shaped across and exacta. From that point on I took more interest in the day,and enjoyed it.
Chad is an Up-state guy.Just a little south of the Spa.Glad to see him win.
