I saw a race this year with one of the most impressive performance I've seen all year.I said to myself.Self,if that horse goes in the Sprint BET HIM.(sorry about the self thing)
The Horse
FATAL BULLET
As Harvey Pack used to say...
"your about to see the fastest horse in the world"
Of course Harvey used it tongue in cheek about an odds on favorite who usually ran up the track.
This guy will burn up the track.
MUST USE

Couldn't agree more, doc! My top pick can hang on in a real barn burner. Good luck today.

I witnessed Fatal Bullet's last and was very impressed, but I think he'll get bet down. No way I am taking 6-1 even on an unproven 3YO in which the biggest win was the G3 KY Cup Sprint. Reraise followed the same path and was successful but Reade Baker isn't Craig Dollase adn Da Silva sure isn't Mr. Sprint, Corey Nakatani! Sure he's unbeaten at the distance and 7 for 8 in the exacta on synthetics but his figs are a bit low. Too top that off, he looked awful from what I saw on The Works. Every report I've read on him, no one appears that impressed. Maybe they just don't know the horse and if he wins, I'll happily eat crow if you provide the tobasco but I'll the fastest horse in the race in Fabuluous Strike and box with the track bias (closers) with Street Boss in an exacta.

I also have Fatal Bullet on top and I tossed the ML Street Boss because horses with "S" running styles win over this surface at less than half the expected rate. I was suprised to see how high Black 17 rated and will also use that one in the exotics. It seems just about the whole field is within a few lenghes of each other.

Reraise?Boy that brings back a fond memory.I had him GOOD back in the day. That was my biggest bet of the day.Off my fading memory the late great Chris Antley rode him.

Nope, C Nak as the win gave him his 3rd Sprint in a row. He was also Dollase's brother-in-law or former brother-in-law at that time.

I loved Fatal Bullet -- track record in his last, perfect post, improving 3-year-old, synthetic form -- and then I saw a replay of his work over the Pro Ride surface. He pretty much staggered home. Truly. Unless he's a terrible workhorse, I think he's in trouble today.

I hope my comments didn't dissuade anyone from using Fatal Bullet in the exacta. The horse ran an excellent race. I'm thinking he's just a lousy workhorse who brings his A-game on race day.
