Mike,

the link to workouts from Horseplayer Mag that you posted, is that something you use regularly? Among other comments the Midnight Lute one (coupled with the way the track was playing), makes me more inclined to use him.

Shoes,

I've never used their service before. I remember reading about the Breeders' Cup promotion a few weeks back and signed up for their e-mail list. The workout report seemed pretty good. I can vouch for the quality of Midnight Lute's last two works. They were unreal. You can watch them off the youtube link in the other thread if you'd like.

I've looked into workout reports in the past. Personally, the one I liked best was National Turf. Here's their website: http://www.nationalturf.com/
Click on sample workout report on the upper left hand side of the page.

I really liked the quality of their report. Andy Harrington does the clocking and he seems to have an excellent eye. During Del Mar, he gave a race a day free on the weekends. Each Monday you can download the previous day's workout report in order to review it for free.

Great hit on Maram yesterday!!! Best of luck today.

Thanks much Mike.

Mr. B, on TVG seems to rely a lot on private clocker reports.

Maram proves if you get one good LS it can it can atone for a lot of handicapping sins. I had a nice win, completed a double and middle of a successful P3 (finished by Stardom Bound). That's about all I did but it was enough.

Good luck today, you are one of several on here whose insights I find very helpful.

That's a beautiful day Shoes. Congrats!!!

Mr. B is actually related to one of the guys from that Horseplayer Pro workout report. Toby Turrell is his nephew I believe.

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate them man. Let's have a good one today!!!

Mike,

Thanks once again. In large part because of your link, I switched gears and used Midnight Lute. I'm 2 of 3 in and live to 2,3,4,5,9,10, & 11. Now not to mess this up.

Atta boy Shoes!!! Great job these last two days.

If you need a rooting interest in the Classic, I could use Champs Elysees in a rather large way.

Mike,

I would root for him any way but the fact that he would complete a $970 P3 doesn't hurt.
