Dear Kenpo artists,
My sensei, the late Michael Sanders, wrote a chapter in this book while he was incarcerated in the late 60's and early 70's. The chapter was "hand written" in a literal sense. Mike lost all of his kenpo long forms while in prison and he developed a "prison set" of stikes and blocks that could be used for close quarter fighting in a space the size of a prison cell. He taught it to us in the Bujin Kenpo group in Sterling, Illinois. Lee Wedlake still uses someof the moves to train his new students in the arts.
