These are the kind of things that make these old monster movies the classics that they are. It is very similar to a scene in The Man From Planet X that shows the spaceman sitting in a cell after being captured. He is sitting there with his head bowed down. We put our human emotions on these monsters as if they were actually human. Brilliant!
