Babe Ruth goes for a Homerun... Or the beating of an exalted

Drach Domo

It had been ages since someone even had seen him, or the one who had chosen to stay with it. It didn't bother either of them. They were happy in there own seemingly small world. But now something stirred inside the young exalted's form again. He needed to move, to do something. And ths he did so, 3 nights ago he placed a soft kiss on Jeh's forehead and then vanished from the cave where they had been staying for the past few weeks. All that was now left of him was the fleeting scent of him. He knew Jeh would track him down and would scold at him for not being there with her and invite her. But he needed to think a few things over. What was he going to do and how would he do it...

As he kept travelling down his path he wasn't even paying attention to distracted by his thoughts, to distracted by his love for her. So while he travelled down the mountain range he didn't notice the peering eyes upon his form, nor did he see the shadows move past him, warning others of his approach. So when all of a sudden an arrow was launched followed by others it came to a surprise and the first one hit him solid in the chest and the only thing that would safe his life for now. As he looked up he let out a soft moan of despair, he wasn't sure if his eyes betrayed him but the sight of 2 ogres more then a dozen goblins didn't do him good. He now had 2 options, fight or run. And now the one flaw he had was about to be shown, retreat wasn't an option...

So with a simple tug the large blade appeared in his hands and he moved forward, leaving a slight trail of blood behind as he did so but he didn't seem to be bothered about it. With a loud crash the solitary warrior crashed with the ambushers, even the goblins were stunned by the ferocity of his attack, soon 3 would be laying on the ground choking in there own blood, before the rest would grap there nerves and start a solid attack. It was at that moment as he charged the 4th goblin that one of the ogres struck out with a wicked tree. The tree crashed soundly against his blade as he desperatly tried to block it. The power of the attack send him reeling back a few steps. He only saw the next one coming from the corner of his eyes and with a loud thud the next tree landed on his left arm sending him straight into the forest, crashing into a tree as well. It seemed he would become a toy now... As he slowly grunted in pain he got up, leaving a smeer of blood on the tree. As he forced his vision back to reality he targetted one of the ogres and charged him. As the ogre saw him charging he brought the large trunk of tree up in an arc once more, aimed to break ribs. But for once the ogre was in bad luck as Drach leaped up and then with the precision of a crane walked over the tree towards the eyes of the hulking ogre. Once at end of the tree his blade sang the song of thirst and lashed out stricking to true and blinding the ogre as it cut his eyes. The moment the ogre started to rear in pain he leaped up the ogre's head and then was about to jump down to the ground, well he got down but then the other ogre had a great insight of becoming a famous baseball player with the trunk. And as he was moving down towards the tree moved up and with a sickening thud connected with Drach's chest. At first he neatly folded around the tree and then started to move with the momentum of the tree, only to start flying the moment the ogre halted the tree. And what you would see now was a small figure flying into the forest, landing a couple of yards away, slowly sliding down to a halt, leaving a slow growing puddle of blood around his battered form. Meanwhile the other ogre and the goblin's had enough trouble with there wounded enraged brother who would take down a few more goblins before being clobered to death, and thus the young exalted was gone from there minds...
