| ~Gunter watched her sleep. A hint of a satisfied smile curled the corners of his lips.
He did not wonder why it took so very long to find her. He simply accepted that Gabrielle was now part of his life. Perhaps it was one of his secrets of enduring hundreds of millenia...
~The candles only enhance her beauty~ he thought.
He was considering a a gift for her. Something from his deep past combined with current knowledge.
Humility and worry were things almost forgotten by Gunter. He had confidence and a conviction in the power and word of his Lord...and to a lesser extent, himself. But, for the first time in so very very long, he was worried about himself.
He wondered if he was worthy of her....~ |

~ As Gunter wacthed Gabrielle, softly sleeping....her mind was busy with vivid colors and sounds...all the componants of a very real dream...
Elisa, Brenna, Zchadazar, Gunter, Elysium and Norworld...all blending together seemlessly....She tries to pick out elements to figure out what the dream is trying to tell her...As most people can not control their dreams, Gabrielle was a little different in that respect. Dreams, to her, were messages. She could control certain aspects of them to a degree..Others had deemed that she was destinied to be a sage...she wasn't so sure...She was happy being with Elisa and Brenna...and most recently, Gunter.
As her thoughts focused on him, the dreams shifted as well. She saw them sparring in a giant arena...Gunter gracefully moving with her and being very careful in his moves. She got the impression that he was gauging her skills.
Her thoughts shifted once again....her dream fading into the background and thoughts coming to the forefront. She knew of men like Gunter. She'd dealt with them many times in her dealings for Norworld. It was hard for her to tell what she was feeling inside. She cared for him, most certainly. She wanted to be around him. His attentions for her were most curious for a man like himself. In her experience, most men like him didn't lavish attentions upon one women for long, if at all. She had no doubt that he loved her...for he had already told her that. She didn't want to get in the way of his choosen profession, but it did make her wonder what the future would hold for them. He was the only man, however, that she ever felt that she could feel something for. He understood her....and he wasn't pushing her to love him...He was just there to love her.
She unconciously gravitates towords him in her sweet state of slumber...the sapphire at her neck pulses a soft blue light that illuminates the room in it's glow ~ | |
