~If anyone were to witness, they'd see the center of the chamber ripple....things seen through on the far side are seen to twist and distort. Then in a blink everything sudenly snaps back to what would be seen...with the exception of the shadow cloaked figure of a man standing dead center.
Zchadazar made the pretense of looking around with His cobalt glowing eyes, even though He was quite aware of anything present.
If anyone had been present, a hint of an amused smile would be seen playing on shadoy lips.
He and His Sister had decided to undo certain past events. Little effort was involved for such as they, for time was merely an organizational tool....if that.
Yet at this time, He was here to witness something He had set in motion in a time and place that no longer Exists....and yet does if you ignore temporal inconvenience. He was here to make sure something He had sent arrived.
His past self, witnessing an Existence before this one dieing, decided to save the last of...something...and sent it someplace that was yet to be. Someplace safe.
And so the shadowed form stood there. Waiting. He did not wait long.
A low hum filled the air. Slowly it rose in pitch and volume over several minutes. Just before it became such a volume and pitch that certain mineral works of art would begin to shatter...it abruptly ceased.
In one corner of the vast Sanctuary, a sphere appeared. Four feet in diameter, it seemed composed of slowly swirling shadows with a hint of...something else...swirling with it. It was cool and solid to the touch...yet left a lingering impression of velvet and/or feathers.
An impression that it might actually be an egg was reinforced by the fact that, below the swirling shadows, something seemed to be stirring and moving on occasion.
He nodded. It had arrived as expected.
He seemed to shrink in upon Himself until He was Elsewhere. But He was never far....
