Response to Belgian trucks in the Congo, WW2
Nice shots indeed, Nuyt.
I would not have imagined that a Mack NR (a 6 0r 7 I think) would have made it that far out in the world.
The last photo also shows some interesting Chev trucks which appear to be 1942 models, 3 tonners it looks like, with interesting wheels.
I am wondering if this series of photos was taken very late in the war or perhaps even after the war was over. I do think that the Belgian Forces inherited a lot of Canadian and US equipment in the 1946-1950 period.
