In a book I have on Swiss fortifications there is a single b+w photo of a gun, no caliber given, mounted on a mounting similar in design to the 37mm Puteaux Infantry gun of WWI and labeled only as "Amerikanisches Antitankgeschutz", an American Antitank gun. It is a virtual twin(barrel and breech wise) of the gun shown on the naval mount in your photos! I have to wonder if the gun shown in the Swiss book is a prototype 37mm AAC AT gun, possibly purchased by Switzerland for trial purposes before the war.
