Mike and I had fun taking pictures last night, though I want to take some more of my new hair toys and some 'dos. We just never got around to that. He got home kind of late, so it was my bedtime when we were snapping pictures. But, before we took pictures...
I washed my hair with Aveda's Sap Moss all the way down to make sure my hair would be clean for the heat cap treatment. After washing, I went to apply the Kiehl's mask and couldn't find it anywhere. I must've used all of it up last time, but I sure thought I had one more application. Disappointment!
I wanted a heat treatment, so used some of
Redken's Extreme Rescue Force Fortifying Treatment for Distressed Hair. My hair doesn't seem distressed, but I do color it, so figure it's preventative maintenance.
Did the heat treatment and then rinsed. Hmmm... not too impressive as far as the feel of my wet hair after rinsing the Redken stuff out. Felt a little stiff and there was no slip. I added a some of Nature's Gate Awapuhi conditioner (thanks, Fox!) to make sure I could get a comb through my hair and that worked great. Smelled good too! Once my hair dried, it was not
nearly as soft and silky as when I use the Kiehl's. Good thing I ordered myself a big tub!
