Well, I finally took some shots of my ponytails for the Style of the Month. The lighting is poor since I was shooting into a mirror and couldn’t use a flash, but I think they can be seen well enough... though the color of my hair isn’t really so yellow. I wear ponys a lot since my hair still feels down yet it's out of my face. Anyway, here they are:
The first shot is with a very inexpensive banana clip, the second is using the leather hair slide I got from leatherjewels.com, the third is a topsy tail pony and the last picture just has my hair wrapped around the band.
My hair is dirty today and up in a figure 8 with my two silver hairsticks. Since I’m getting color tonight and they wash it very thoroughly afterwards, I like it to be dirtier than usual when I go in. The shampoo lady used to actually rub the length of my hair together for some reason, as though she thought it needed the extra friction to get the “dirt” out. I winced the first time she did that and then told the hairdresser that he needed to tell her that it’s damaging to treat long hair like that. She must’ve gotten the message, because she stopped doing it. She has very short hair and it probably never occurred to her that she needed to treat long hair differently.
So I will be a grey-less blonde again tomorrow!

Actually, my grey shows minimally after 6 weeks, but if I let it go much longer it might be
quite noticeable. I'm not sure if/when I'll let my hair "go grey". For now, being blonde is quite nice.
