Lately I’ve been thinking about cutting my hair. Not yet, because I do want to officially reach waist-length, but after that perhaps. I miss my face being framed in nice “down-dos” and I just miss wearing my hair down most of the time. I would never cut it short (I look
terrible in short hair!), but I’m thinking of cutting it back to mid-back with some layers around the front – with even some wispy bangs – maybe. I don’t want to get back into blow drying even if I cut it shorter, and I’m thinking that slight layers and having it shorter will bring my waves out more. Long - all one length - pulls out most of the wave. I saw Raquel Welch in an old movie this weekend and I really liked her hair. It was still long, but looked great down and windblown and even messed up. Hmmm…
My weekend was uneventful, but that is
good. I am truly a homebody, and after working 5 days a week and getting home late after working out at the gym, I LIKE staying home all weekend. Always been that way, so it’s not because I’ve become an old fuddy-duddy. On Sunday Mike met a friend of his from Pennsylvania in Virginia (he rode up on his bike) and they rode back together to our place. He rode for 16 hours and LOVED it. That’s way too much for my butt, but he’s hard core and for him it’s exhilarating. So, I had Sunday to myself. I got to read and putter and plot and plan. Did a deep heat treatment with my Keihl's and used Lush's mask on my face. It's nice to be alone to do those things.
