This might be my last post for awhile since the near future looks extremely busy. There are the Christmas holidays, but on top of that Mike and I have decided to move to his house as soon as possible, and sell my house. His house is much bigger and is currently occupied by a very flaky tenant who after 4 months of moving in decided to break the lease and leave. It might be a blessing in disguise since it will push us closer to building our dream house. I will miss my house with all the wood trim, skylights and pond/waterfall in the backyard, but Mike's place is better suited for us at this stage and I will have room to set up a jewelry studio
and pottery studio if I so desire. His house is very light and airy, so my plants will be happy there too. But the move will be intense I am sure, as I have so many books and an overflowing kitchen,
etc. Packing books is easy, but packing up lots of dishes and breakable items can be time consuming. So... if there are no posts here, think of me packing box after box!
With this impending move, we have discussed marriage further and are both walking on air regarding that. We agree that we should tie the knot! When and where we have yet to decide.
I expect an official "proposal" when the time is right.
My hair continues to give me little trouble lately. This past weekend, Mike and I attended a Christmas party on a dinner yacht on Lake Lanier north of Atlanta. It was to be "holiday casual", so I decided to wear my hair down in "§Bee Butt Bun" curls. Here is a link, with photos, describing them:
