I decided to go ahead and order some shoes that I liked just to make sure they didn't sell out before I made up my mind. Not sure yet if they will go with the dress, but I like 'em a lot. Here is a picture:
Since I want my dress relatively simple (not too much trim and fancy details), I'm thinking it'll work out great. Maybe I'll keep them even if they don't got with the wedding dress. They'd go great with some of my skirts.
Now I'm off to finish the blouse I started last week! It's my practice piece since I haven't sewn in so many years (15? 20?) I'm having to use our dining room for my sewing area and it wouldn't be so bad except that we have all kinds of stuff in there that we still need to move to the condo or Goodwill. Like a couch turned sideways and rolls of carpet that are going up in the attic when Mike has the time to finish it out, and albums from back in the... hmmm... 60's! I have the first album I ever bought:
