I've been working on my mock-up dress today and Mesa, my kitty, decided to join me and help:
I liked the company, but did finally have to move her to another part of the cutting board.
She wanted to play - loves the crinkly noise of the patterns as I wadded up the extra pieces (trash) and threw them in the air.
As far as the pattern goes so far - I had to lower the waist by an inch and it looks as though I will need to lengthen the skirt part a bit too. I have the dress all cut out now and this weekend will put it together to see what other adjustments I'll need to make.
Oh yeah, I just got my dressform and put it together. I have it almost my size, but haven't done the fine tweaking yet.
