Things are coming together – slowly but surely. I’m taking off this Friday to help Mike get his head together for leaving for Germany for his father’s funeral and should also have time to finish my dress. I can’t wait until the fun part of adding the trim and details. I might even have time to work on Mike’s shirt and my wreath this weekend. I’m still waiting to see if I will have time to make a cloak. They’re simple to make, so I probably will, but I don’t want to buy any fabric until I’m sure there's enough time.

The animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted
with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not our breathren, they
are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth.
