Worth the strugglebyI highly recommend this class especially to nurses who have entered the field with little knowledge about computer research. I now have amply info about sites to use when no one else can tell me what I want to know! |

Any brilliant ideasbyHello; I am very interested in investing my future in developing a noninvasive space for children suffering from stress. I envision a Center for Creative Healing. At this place we would offer music therapy, art therapy, movement (yoga, etc) and couselling for children up to age 18 who exhibit mild to moderate stress ( severe stress would require MD follow-up). We seem to have plenty options for adults but I have not found any in Marin for children. Do any of you know of something similar already in existance? Thanks. |

Cobb syndrom and translation french to english from medic termsbyDoes anyone can help me to find things about what is called "Syndrome de Cobb" in french, or just even give me any translation of this specific term in english. It might have some relation with what we call "Syndrome du cône terminal" or "Syndrome de la queue de cheval". It's about a real case, and quiet urgent. Thanks |
Trouble with Web bot searchesbyI am taking this online medical research class and have found a lot of useful tips to streamline my searches on the Internet. I am a physical therapist and have chosen to search for "Cerebral Palsy" for my graduate research in pediatric PT. I am curious if anyone else is noticing that many of Web Bots on the "List of Bots" are unable to be opened. I am receiving the following message for exampe for Med-finder, Medical Search Engines, Neuroscience Web Search as well as some others. Is anyone else having the same problems? I Hope to hear from someone. |
Web Botsby Rick SheridanYou are right that Bots can be confusing. There are so many different types of bots and they range from outstanding to below average. I recommend that you experiment around when you have the time. Some of the specialized news collecting bots are well worth the effort. |
Am I contacting you?byMr. Sheridan, I am trying to confirm that my email/phone messages are getting through so we can be in touch for this class. If they are, please reply. Thanks! Lorraine Killpack 415.479.7551 |
