If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

How a bout a little more transparancy then?

So you know, people don't have to talk about things they don't know about in anonymitity?

People don't know what they are talking about, that's true. Most of that has to to do with the complete shell that the OLA (specifically the Junior A and Junior B council) hide themselves in. There is very little public information available, so when you get in a public environment (such as this one), misinformation is bound to fly around.

The problem is, there is no information coming down from the OLA to the public, so you have people bringing up what they overheard, what they think they know, etc...

If the OLA would finally get off their asses and join us in 2008 (instead of having their commissioner come here and bitch about anonymous people posting misinformation), there would be less and less of these types of issues.

Between http://www.ontariojralacrosse.com/jranews.html, http://www.ontariojrblacrosse.ca/jrbnews.html and www.ontariolacrosse.com, there is absolutely piss all in terms of news. Not just about the incidents mentioned, but in general.

Maybe instead of coming on here and bitching about people who don't know what they are talking about, you should perhaps make the information available to the public.

If you are not prepared to do that, you shouldn't be ignorant enough to sit there and and complain about people posting misinformation.

You don't seem to understand the number of people who live and breathe lacrosse in this province, and who are hungry for lacrosse news.

The fact that a fan forum is routinely the best source for news and information (none of which comes from the league directly), is an absolute disgrace. That's not a slight at Ron (and Glen before him), nor is it a slight at those who come here and post worthwhile information and answer questions.

So instead of sitting here and throwing stones at others, get your own damned house in order. You aren't going to prevent people from talking crap, but you sure as hell can prevent the continual flow of misinformation by actually providing legitimate information on all issues in a timely matter.

Otherwise, get back in your office and don't complain about anonymous posters being wrong.
